Pumpkin Dinner Rolls

I found out recently how to make pumpkin dinner rolls, and will be making them for our Bible Study tonight!

It makes a lot of rolls, so I usually only make them for group get-togethers:

Here's my eldest son, showing me how much he loves the rolls, and how much Thomas the Tank Engine and Salty love them too:

And of course my biggest fan of all time, my hubby, who absolutely loves and sort of bread:

I also wanted to mention that I got this recipe from Moneysavingmom.com. Here is the recipe!

  1. Those look great. I have tried to make some homemade breads and rolls. I have had some success. But I was wondering where do you let the dough rise? Sometimes I preheat the oven just a little then let the dough rise there, but sometimes that is too hot. Also are you particular about how warm the milk. water is that you let the yeast dissolve in? Just a couple questions...

And your blog looks nice. I look forward to reading it regularly.

  2. Thanks for the comment! I usually just let the dough rise in our oven at the lowest temperature possible. I haven't found another warm place in our house, so that is our next best bet.

Usually I let the yeast dissolve in the water, and I warm the water in the microwave for about 45 seconds. But for this particular recipe I just went ahead and warmed up the milk till it felt warm. I don't think it makes a difference in this recipe. Hope this helps!
