Target Grocery Shopping Trip = $37.00

I was very pleased with the Target trip for grocery shopping this week. Once again, we didn't really have a need for anything in specific, so we went with what was on sale. I take that back - we did need some vitamins. :)

Total spent for the above items was $37.00 exactly. I had a stack of coupons for my cashier, and I was a little nervous about using that many coupons, but they were all for items I had gotten. I seriously had about 30 coupons. (Target and manufacturer coupons).

I wouldn't have been able to make this trip without the help from Money Saving Mom. So if you're headed out to Target this week, make sure to check her list before going!

  1. We also purchased the pretzels, toothpaste, juice, and granola bars. I eat a granola bar every day for breakfast, and they are usually almost $3 a box. With the coupons they were only about $1. This coupon thing could be really really addicting.... I've been really excited about my trip to Target this week! Thanks!

  2. Which Target do you shop at in Champaign? I'm fairly new to the area and the only one I know about is the one on Prospect; just curious! In the past, when they had the Red Baron personal pizzas for $2.50 and I had the $2 off coupon for the Pizza by the Slice, Target on Prospect didn't have that particular kind. I've noticed that you have used coupons during that deal and I was wondering if they took anyway...I hope I'm making sense... :) Thanks!

  3. Yes, I shop at the Target in Champaign. Yes, they took my Red Baron coupon. I think as long as it was the same company, they took it. I don't know if that helps at all. I have found this Target to be pretty flexible with my coupons.

  4. Thanks so much! I noticed this past week that you used the Red Baron $2 off coupons for free pizza. I stopped by and they didn't have the "Deep Dish"; only the "traditional crust", so I didn't get it, since I wasn't sure if the coupon would work.
I'll just have to give it a try!
