Grocery shopping this week = $41.65

We've been without internet for almost a week now, so I'm squeezing in a little bit of a post before I forget.

This week we had a surprise trip to a local "You-Pick" farm, so we went a little overbudget with the 2 lbs. of blueberries we picked. But I think it was well worth it for only $3.50!!

Pictured below is from Big Lots. I love to get our bread there because it's usually only $1 each, so we put some in the freezer for french toast (my favorite!!). Total spent: $5.50.

Picture below is from County Market, total spent, $19.29.

We needed some restocking of our ice cream toppings, so IGA had a sale on those items. Pudge helped me pick these items out. Total spent here: $5.75.

Total spent for this week's groceries was $41.65. How did you do this week?

  1. That's a very good price for the blueberries.

I like frozen blueberries by itself and my hubby loves his "own made" blueberries smoothies. We froze some when they went on sale for $0.99 per 6 ounces a couple of weeks ago at Aldi. Wish that farm is near us also because our blueberry plant is growing very slowly. :I
